This one might take some explaining for those of you who haven’t seen Super Troopers, a wonderful movie that doesn’t get the comedic credit it deserves. During the movie, a trooper pulls over a driver (played by Jim Gaffigan) and proceeds to use the word “meow” as many times as possible and as casually as possible. And that’s how the “meow game” originated.
Which brings up to this clip from a recent ECHL game. During a 40-second intermission interview, Ray Kaunisto of the Kalamazoo Wings managed to get seven “meows” in. Seven. That’s an impressive 0.2 meows per second. I don’t know if that’s like a record for the “meow game” but I have to think it’s close.
