Marko Milovanovic is probably a much better hockey player than I am. I mean, I’m an uncoordinated mess of a human with blogger arms and lung problems, but you wouldn’t be able to judge our vastly differing skill levels by this video.
Milovanovic isn’t just a player on the Serbian IIHF junior team, he’s actually the captain. And not just some pity captaincy given to players about to retire so they feel all special and junk. This team captain found himself in a shootout situation against Spain, and like any great leader decided to step and lead his team to victory with the grace and skill only a true captain has.
Uhhh, at least I’m pretty sure that’s what he meant to do. Woof.
