When it comes to bouts of anger and the sport of golf, most folks immediately think of Adam Sandler and Bob Barker’s fight in Happy Gilmore. Real golf isn’t always as lively, but Rory McIlroy made his best attempt at the PGA Tour on Friday. He violently tossed his 3-iron into a lake when he wasn’t able to clear it.
Never fear, for a clever golf fan with scuba diving gear was at the scene earlier today. As a few other golfers and fans looked on, the unidentified stand-in for Jacques Cousteau delved into the water and eventually found the golf club. Not even the commentators were sure if he was supposed to be there or not.
