This wasn’t the angriest that UFC President Dana White has been about people accusing Anderson Silva of throwing his fight against Chris Weidman at UFC 162 for the sake of the company – as I mostly jokingly laid out in the days after the upset victory – but it’s still always fun to watch him get pissed off. This time, during an appearance on ESPN’s Highly Questionable, White needed a little encouragement from host Dan Lebatard and Bomani Jones to spike his blood pressure, but it was still pretty great to watch White get fired up for their (and our) enjoyment.
As for the first question of whether or not Silva losing was good for the UFC… come on, Dana. We all know the answer is yes. Just own it.
Still no baseball tonight, which is great news for the Footballtocracy, but I hope they all enjoy what it on TV tonight for sports fans…
WNBA: Phoenix at Los Angeles – 10 PM ET on ESPN 2
Suck on that, baseball haters.
PGA: British Open First Round – 7 PM ET on ESPN
This will be a rerun, of course, and after people actually bitched about me spoiling the Wimbledon Finals more than an hour after it happened, I might just try my hardest to spoil this, too.
Tour de France: Stage 18 – 8 PM ET on NBC Sports
Again, baseball’s the worst, right? Wait, you’re still not convinced…
Impact Wrestling – 9 PM ET on Spike
Hurry back, baseball. I need you now more than ever.
