Bradley became the team’s head coach prior to the 2013 season. The Jags never won more than five games in a year during his tenure, and after falling to the Texans on Sunday, the team fell to 2-12 on the 2016 season.
On his head coaching career, which began after a successful stint as the defensive coordinator with the Seattle Seahawks, Bradley accrued an amazing 14-48 record. For reference on how hard the Bradley era was in Jacksonville, here’s a fun stat.
Bill Belichick could go 0-16 for 41 consecutive seasons and still have a better winning percentage than Gus Bradley.

As you can guess, with a record this bad, a lot of Jaguars fans were happy to see their now-former head coach go.

Not long ago, Gus Bradley and Jeff Fisher were both given contract extensions. As of today, Gus Bradley and Jeff Fisher are unemployed.

On that last one, there are a lot of people making jokes about Fisher becoming the next Jaguars head coach. Why? Well, probably because the internet is a dark and scary place.
Jeff Fisher to the Jags. Please. Please make this happen.

What are the odds of Jeff Fisher joining the Jaguars and winning a Superbowl

No matter what, the Jaguars will need to find a coach who is willing to build a team that needs a lot of help. It has a solid stable of receivers and some young talent on the defensive side of the ball, but the next coach is going to need some time to build up the roster they want.
