A quick recap: Last week Bill O’Reilly, military genius, announced on his show that he had come up with a way to solve the world’s terrorist problem by sending a squad of 25,000 paid mercenaries after ISIS. It was a plan that the consensus agreed was flawed, to put it nicely, and by “consensus” I mean literally Bill O’Reilly’s colleagues at Fox News. But instead of going after his Fox News buddies, the very clearly butthurt O’Reilly instead attacked Stephen Colbert (who also had brutally mocked his plan) in a segment called, “How to deal with dumb people.”

But now Stephen Colbert has responded to Bill’s veritable “wag of the finger,” and his original mocking of O’Reilly’s plan is nothing compared to this. In an epic, nearly six minute segment that makes Colbert nearly break character at one point, he tells his mentor: “Let’s not fight. Or if we do, let’s at least pay other people to do it for us.”
