After three years, you’d think Ward would be the kind of guy who would just die when you killed him. Unfortunately for Coulson and the team, that hasn’t been the case. And now he wants to share his feelings with the team, which is even worse than it sounds.
Last week had a well-done mindbender of an episode that wrapped up a bunch of plots while dealing with the nature of time. Daisy learned she couldn’t save everybody, May got to hear from her crazy mission-derailing ex, Fitz and Simmons finally pulled the trigger, and Gideon, the soon-to-be-former head of HYDRA, finally figured out trusting a scheming zombie, especially a scheming zombie that’s Grant Ward, is a really, really bad idea. Gee, the guy who lied his way to the top of a law-enforcement organization and then teamed up with a brain slug is dangerous? What a shock!
This week, Gideon’s Inhuman army is probably going to kill him, as something out of his past is rearing its head to make life difficult for him, and SHIELD is on his case. And even if he survives that, well, there’s Ward to deal with. That’s at 9 p.m. tonight on ABC. Join us, won’t you?
