Badger and Skinny Pete, the 21st century’s answer to Bulk and Skull, have become two of the most beloved Breaking Bad characters, despite appearing in less than a dozen episodes apiece. Who doesn’t love a good meth slinger, especially a meth slinger with mad musical skillz? That’s why it’s tough to process that Badger isn’t Badger in real life — he’s actually UCB-trained actor Matt Jones, and UCB-trained actor Matt Jones needs to book other, non-selling meth at Narcotics Anonymous roles. Dwight Schrute is here to help.
Breaking Bad alum Matt Jones has been tapped to play Rain Wilson’s mysterious cousin Zeke in the potential spinoff of NBC’s The Office, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The Farm centers on Dwight (Rainn Wilson) as a beet farmer running a bed and breakfast inn and is being approached as a potential back-door pilot slated to run as an episode of the long-running NBC series in the fall.
Jones joins the previously cast Thomas Middleditch as Dwight’s wacky brother Jeb, Majandra Delfino (Roswell) as Dwight’s younger sister, Frannie, and Blake Garrett as his nephew, Cameron. (Via)
I’d suddenly be a lot more excited for The Farm — which hopefully can’t be any worse than The Office — if it turned out Dwight’s been running a meth mill all these years. That would explain Mose.
