Daredevil is just a few days away from debuting its second season, and fans everywhere are eagerly awaiting not just watching the show, but looking for hints and tidbits about what might be coming elsewhere in Marvel’s Netflix series and movies. And there are some subtle nods, if you know where to look.
For example, if you look closely, you’ll find that a chapter of the Dogs of Hell biker club makes its home in New York. You have to wonder what they thought of what happened to their Nevada chapter when an Asgardian took them over on Agents of SHIELD. Or, for that matter, the hints that we’ve seen about the Punisher, especially his family life. Is that framed photo we see of him and his daughter at the park from the same fateful day as Frank Castle’s family getting caught in a mob crossfire? Or is a worse fate awaiting the Castle family?
That isn’t even getting into Elektra and the complications she brings to the table for Matt Murdock, both emotionally as his first love and by bringing the Hand ever closer to New York City. Just how will all these hints pay off? We’ll find out this Friday.
