On Monday, Netflix dropped this new trailer for W/ Bob & David, David Cross and Bob Odenkirk’s non-Mr. Show Netflix sketch series, which comes out November 13, which is now much less far away than when they announced the date along with the first teaser back in September. As we mentioned previously, the series premise is: “After being dishonorably discharged from the Navy Seals, Bob and David are back serving the U.S. in the way they do best: Making sketch comedy.”
And from the looks it, boy will the new series ever deliver. The trailer alone touches on a number of sensitive subjects such as race, religion, police brutality, and little kids who see Hitler in heaven. David Cross also promises that W/ Bob & David will bring the sexy back, so if you’re wondering whether or not you’ll “get to jerk off later,” that answer is a resounding yes, you will.
As far as we know now, the series will consist of four episodes in addition to an hour-long behind the scenes special. While that doesn’t seem like a tremendous amount, considering how busy Odenkirk, Cross and company are now (especially with Bob Odenkirk filming the second season of Better Call Saul), that we’re getting anything at all is really a testament to how beloved Mr. Show was by its fans and creators.
