Escape From L.A. With The Trailer For USA’s Upcoming ‘Colony’

The USA Network has always had some pretty great original shows (Psych, Monk, WWE Monday Night R…no, that doesn’t technically count). This summer, they’ve gotten a little more cutting edge with the Launch of Mr. Robot. Now, it appears they want to keep that ride going with Colony, which is already scheduled for ten episodes this fall.

It’s set in the near future, as shows of this ilk are wont to be set, and an “outside force” has occupied Los Angeles. Josh Holloway (Lost) plays a father who has been separated from his son and, in his determined quest to escape the confines of the city, winds up becoming a pawn in a conspiratorial plot because of course he is, Freckles.

Also starring Sarah Wayne Callies (from The Walking Dead), this sci-fi drama is run by Carlton Cruse, who is behind shows like Bates Motel and The Strain. He also previously worked on Lost with Holloway, making this kind of a happy little dystopian reunion for the two.
