George Carlin was recently honored with his own street in New York City, complete with a touching ceremony from friends and family six years after his death. Keith Olbermann was supposed to be at the ceremony, but couldn’t. To make up for it, Olbermann provided this nice tribute on his show featuring a brand new George Carlin joke. That’s right: brand new.
According to Olbermann, the joke comes from Carlin’s daughter Kelly via his file of jokes and is the latest of many that Carlin provided the host over the years. And it’s a pretty good joke too.
Nice to see Colin Quinn, by the way. If I could make one thing happen in my miserable life, I’d be happy to bring back Tough Crowd for another season.
