Both Idina Menzel and Kumail Nanjiani were guests on The Late Late Show with James Corden last night, two people who have nothing in common other than the fact that John Travolta probably couldn’t pronounce either of their names. In the beginning of the above clip, like any red-blooded men, Cordon and Nanjiani spend like a full minute geeking out over Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson; Nanjiani said that The Rock is like what would happen “if all the races had sex.”
Noticing that she’s being left out of the conversation, Corden and Nanjiani asked Menzel if she’s obsessed with anyone and if she likes The Rock, to which the singer responds, “Who is The Rock?” While Corden and Nanjiani are still processing, she follows up by asking if “Dwayne Johnson and The Rock are the same person…” and this is the face that Nanjiani makes:
We’re right there with you, Kumail.
