Well it looks like we, the entire internet, aren’t the only one not pleased with NBC’s maddening, awful coverage of the London Olympics, aka the Seacrest Olympics — Jon Stewart is at his wit’s end as well.
Specifically, Stewart can’t believe that NBC cut out a tribute to victims of terrorism in the UK during the opening ceremonies in favor of airing a segment featuring Ryan Seacrest, reportedly so that they could better “tailor the broadcast to an American audience.”
“NBC, the network that to commemorate 9/11, actually re-runs 9/11…you wouldn’t air a six minute tribute to the rest of the world’s terrorist victims?” Stewart said incredulously. “You’re NBC — you don’t know how to tailor television to an American audience!”
