Louisville sportscaster Adam Lefkoe burst onto the Internet scene over the past few weeks thanks to segments where he name-dropped 31 professional wrestlers and made 41 Seinfeld references. These were both nice, fun little exercises, but now Lefkoe has gone and put one of Cupid’s love arrows square in my sternum, because his latest segment features 46 classic rap references. Listen through a couple times and see how many you can check off. Knocking out “Nuthin’ But A G Thang” and “It Was A Good Day” in the first 10 seconds is some damn good hustle.
Lefkoe mentions at the end of the video that it could be his last segment like this for a while, which is both good and bad news. It’s good because you don’t wanna choke the life out of a fun, enjoyable bit, but it’s bad because he still hasn’t done a Simpsons or ’90s R&B one yet. Those practically write themselves.
