Matt LeBlanc, who is aging very nicely IMO, was on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and talked about how he comes from a family of working people and, before Hollywood came calling, he actually went to his local vo-tech school in high school and trained to be a carpenter. I guess looking back, it’s not all that much of a stretch that his break out role was in that Married with Children spinoff when he was in his 20s.
So LeBlanc told Jimmy Kimmel that for his senior project, while other kids were building your run-of-the-mill clocks and shelves and crap like that — he and his teacher built some lady’s entire kitchen and installed it in her house. OK, my biggest take away from this is that I need to find out where I can get some high school kids to do some slave labor on the cheap because I have a few projects of my own that need attending to.
