What’s going to happen with The Late Late Show is probably the only intriguing late night mystery left at this point, unless you’re actually wondering if “real” Stephen Colbert can be funny. A thought that should prompt you to drink bleach immediately.

Craig Ferguson’s replacement is still up in the air and even though it seemed like Joel McHale had the job, those reports might’ve been exaggerated. So does that mean Macdonald still has a shot? Well according to this one minute audition on Conan, I think he feels there’s a sliver of hope.

I don’t know why anyone would want to host a late night talk show though. There are some host that seem to have a lot of fun doing it, but then there are weeks when they probably just feel like sticking a gun in their mouth and paying an assistant to pull the trigger (so they can get into heaven, of course). But then again, the thought crosses my mind all the time and I’m not hosting sh*t.
