World’s biggest Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde fan FilmDrunk Vince has the full, delicious report on Reese Witherspoon getting arrested for disorderly conduct over the weekend, along with her driving-under-the-influence husband CAA Agent James Toth, but there’s one part of the story I’d like for everyone to pay particular attention to. It’s even better than Reese playing the Do You Know Who I Am? card.
“Mrs. Witherspoon began to hang out the window and say that she did not believe that I was a real police officer,” according to the police report. “I told Mrs. Witherspoon to sit on her butt and be quiet.”
Once Toth was placed under arrest, Witherspoon exited the vehicle [in a Walgreens parking lot] and was instructed to get back in the car. According to the report, she “stated that she was a ‘US citizen’ and that she was allowed to ‘stand on American ground.’” (Via)
Hmmm…this sort of sounds familiar.
