This Coldplay hot goss has EVERYTHING: whiny British singers, women who name their babies Apple, Don Pardo standing in a corner watching, and ASSistants…it’s that thing where a midget dressed in yellow puts ants in your butt. The only newspaper gossip column with a number in their name I trust, the New York Post‘s Page Six, has a bombshell of a scoop of a doozy of a whopper of a story: one-half of recently conscious uncoupled couple, Chris Martin, cheated on ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow with an SNL assistant.
NBC staff have been buzzing about an affair Martin had after appearing as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live in 2011 with Coldplay. Martin also made an appearance on “Weekend Update” with Fred Armisen and Kristin Wiig as Garth & Kat.
One source tells us the girl was an assistant on the show, while another NBC source explained, “He had an affair with a woman who was backstage and was part of an entourage. Everyone was talking about it because he was openly flirting with her at one of the show after-parties.” (Via)
