We’ve brought it up once or twice recently, but Stephen Colbert started his new late night stint on Tuesday. Only it almost didn’t make it to air. During his second monologue, Colbert explained how the first nearly didn’t happen due to technical glitches. How bad did it get? Fifteen minutes before air time there wasn’t a guarantee that the show would make it to television.
Just good marketing or the frightening reality of producing a television show? I’m leaning towards the latter.
