Weekend Preview: ‘Mad Men’ Comes To An End And Louis C.K. Hosts ‘SNL’

Mad Men (AMC, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) — The. Final. Episode. What’s gonna happen to Don? Does he go to Rome? Is he the falling man as foretold in the show’s opening credits? Is Peggy still a badass? The folks of Sterling Cooper & Partners will officially assume their place in the television pantheon with one last 77-minute episode. If you need me, I definitely won’t be sobbing in the shower singing Boyz II Men.

Saturday Night Live (NBC, Saturday 10:30 p.m.) — The 40th season of the long-running sketch comedy series goes out with a bang… and it might get steamy (and depressing) because the musical guest is Rihanna and the host is Louis C.K.

NBA Playoffs (ESPN, Friday 7:00/9:30 p.m.) — Hawks vs. Wizards Game 6. Then, Steph Curry — which is code for appointment television at this point — in Warriors at Grizzlies, also Game 6.

UPDATE: The thrilling conclusion to the suddenly interesting Clippers at Rockets series is officially slated for Sunday at 3:30 p.m. on ABC.

NHL Playoffs (NBC, Saturday 1:00 p.m./Sunday at 3:00 p.m.) — Lightning at Rangers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. And then, get your Gordon Bombay jokes ready, cake-eaters, because the Ducks host the Blackhawks for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.

Orphan Black (BBC, Saturday 9:00 p.m.) — Sarah’s captured, which leads to a reunion at the Castor Camp while the Leda family worries about her absence. Gracie “breaks Amish,” and Cosima learns that the struggle is real when it comes to online dating.

IVERSON (Showtime, Saturday 9:00 p.m.) — We ain’t talkin’ ’bout practice… we’re talking an 87-minute documentary detailing The Answer’s rise from a kid on the wrong side of the tracks in Newport News, Va. to an NBA icon.

Billboard Music Awards (ABC, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) — Kanye West will be performing. Also, Mariah Carey, Hozier, the Imagine Dragons play a Ben E. King tribute, Fall Out Boy, Nicki Minaj, Ed Sheeran, Van Halen, Britney and a bunch more.

FOX Comedies (FOX, Sunday 7:30-10:00 p.m.) — The Season 13 finale of Family Guy has Lois tricking Peter into taking a Bahamian vacation… and by “Bahamian vacation,” we mean couples counseling. The Belchers learn that celebrities are people, too, on Bob’s Burgers. Groundskeeper Willie inherits the mathlete team, and Rick and Morty stop by for an epic couch gag on the 26th season finale of The Simpsons. Jake and Amy learn that “undercover” can be a double entendre, and the whole precinct is forced to say a surprise goodbye on Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Game of Thrones (HBO, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) — Arya trains (Rocky IV-style montage or GTFO), Tyrion crosses paths with some slavers, and The Sand Snakes attack.

HBO Comedies (HBO, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) — Ehrlich encounters a ghost of incubators past, Monica wants Pied Piper to get in on the livestream action on Silicon Valley, and Selina gets jealous when her new running mate gets all the attention on Veep.

Penny Dreadful (Showtime, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) — Vanessa grabs the bull by the horns and harnesses her powers under the tutelage of The Cut-Wife.
