Top Chef Masters (Bravo, 10 p.m.) — There’s an interesting dichotomy in the guest stars tonight: Holly Madison (Vegas showgirl and one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends) will be appearing in the same episode with the Indigo Girls, who are kind of the opposite of everything Holly Madison represents. That should be interesting.
Damages (DirectTV, 10 p.m.) — Does anyone even know that Ryan Phillippe is on this season of Damages (playing a Julian Assange type) along with Judd Hirsch? Does anyone besides me even watch the DirecTV channel?
NYMed (ABC, 10 p.m.) — Series finale. I haven’t seen any of the eight documentary episodes set in a couple of New York hospitals, but I did see Boston Med a few years ago, and it was surprisingly great.
Dirty Jobs (Discovery, 10 p.m.) — Season premiere. Mike Rowe returns for the ninth season, and tonight his “disgusting” job is to work alongside aboriginal leaders in Australia.
Tucker & Dale vs. Evil (Netflix, anytime) — I can’t in good conscience recommend anything listed above (except Damages, but only if you’ve been watching all along). However, I know a lot of you have expressed affection for Tyler Labine, and if you love him as much as you say you do, you’ll dig this nifty little horror comedy. Alan Tudyk is the icing on the redneck cake (redneck cake is actually a Twinkie).
LATE NIGHT LISTINGS: Rachel Maddow is on Dave, Leno’s got Dax Shepard promoting his new movie, while Kristen Bell does the same on Fallon. I’m also curious to see what Jimmy Kimmel does with RPatz tonight.
