Stephen Curry is the best shooter ever, sure. But he’s also an underrated defender, an outstanding ball handler, and incredible at finishing at the rim. All of those skills were on display during this possession, when he stole the ball from Kevin Durant before dribbling around Oklahoma City’s defense and finishing through contact by the rim. Curry’s shooting is the skill that everyone thinks of when they say he’s one of the best (if not the best) players in the world, but all of these additional skills are what make him such a special basketball player.
After the possession, Curry sent a simple message to everyone who thought the Warriors were going to lose this game and Oklahoma City was moving on to the next round.
