In what I can only assume is being called Canada’s trial of the century, porn actor Luka Magnotta had a strong emotional and physical reaction to a video that he watched during his murder trial on Tuesday, as he asked the judge for a 5-minute recess before collapsing and curling up in the fetal position. So what the heck was on that video that could have made this man have such a breakdown?
Seriously, what on Earth was so terrifying and/or revealing that this guy reportedly sat at the table unable to watch the video, hands over his mouth like he was going to vomit the whole time, until he eventually stood up and asked to be excused as he fainted?
I’d love to know, because I don’t think there’s anything that bad.
When the crime first came to light last spring, police confirmed the existence of a video in which a man who looks like Magnotta dismembers, sexually abuses, and eats Lin’s corpse. The video, which Magnotta posted online, is reportedly 11 minutes long.
Lin, Magnotta’s ex-lover, was an engineering student at Concordia University. After killing him with an ice pick, Magnotta is accused of mailing pieces of Lin’s body to Canada’s Conservative and Liberal Parties. Bloody packages containing Lin’s right hand and right foot were discovered at two Vancouver schools.
Magnotta then escaped to Germany, where he was arrested in a Berlin cafe while Googling himself. (Via NY Daily News)
