Marc Webb May Or May Not Have Intentionally Revealed Electro's Full Costume

Director Marc Webb has been pretty great about Tweeting pictures from the set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 that don’t actually reveal very much but also playfully tease the franchises fans with the ideas of Venom and the Sinister Six. It’s safe to say that the object of his Tweets are to provide us with as much information that will keep us excited without actually telling us anything about what’s happening with the plot, other than the involvement of umpteen villains.

On Wednesday night, Webb Tweeted a photo of Spider-Man himself, Andrew Garfield, with editor Pietro Scalia and the jovial message, “Andrew Garfield kindly showing editor Pietro Scalia how it’s done.” Haha, that’s great, you guys. But wait… what’s that on the wall above the monitors? Is that a poster of Jamie Foxx as Electro?

Oh Marc Webb, you scoundrel.

Of course it could also just be some random poster of a comic book character image, but where’s the needless hype in that?
