Keira Knightley Says ‘Love Actually’ Is The Best Movie Ever While Promoting Her Rom-Com With Adam Levine

I’m on record as saying that loving ‘Love Actually,’ and specifically the scene with Keira Knightley, is representative of at least a mild character defect. So when Keira Knightly went on MSNBC’s unwatchable Morning Joe recently to say that ‘Love Actually’ is the best movie ever, lots of people sent it to me so they could watch my eyelid twitch. To be fair, she only said that because the question was multiple choice.

JOE SCAR BOROUGH: Is Love Actually the greatest movie ever or the worst movie ever made?

KNIGHTLEY: It is obviously the greatest movie ever made.

OTHER ANCHOR: Should it be on cable more than it is?

KNIGHTLEY: Absolutely.

SAY IT AIN’T SO, KEIRA! That’s the worst thing about hating Love Actually, actually, is that it’s always the pretty ones who love it. As if that weren’t bad enough, the reason Knightley was on the show in the first place was to promote ‘Begin Again,’ a musical romantic comedy in which she co-stars with Adam Levine. Levine is best known as the lead singer of Maroon 5, whose music can best be described as ‘Love Actually’ for your ears.

This woman must be stopped. In my book, promoting an Adam Levine movie while calling ‘Love Actually’ the greatest film ever made is like toasting to the Holocaust at a luncheon honoring Geico’s ad writers.
