If there’s anything that Vin Diesel isn’t right now, it’s boring. After it was revealed that he will indeed (disappointingly) provide the voice of Groot, the talking tree who just shouts, “I AM GROOT!”, in next year’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Diesel’s Riddick had a solid debut at the box office last weekend, and he confirmed that his return to the xXx franchise will be filmed in the Philippines, adding:
“The theme of the next ‘XXX’ is about family and it’s a subject that will resonate with the Filipinos because they are family-oriented.”
Will xXx: The Return of Xander Cage be about the extreme sports super spy fathering a child and having to change a diaper while riding a snowmobile over a nuclear submarine explosion? Absolutely. But not content with his zany fans going crazy over the Riddick and xXx movies, Diesel posted the above image from the set of Fast & Furious 7 to his Facebook page on Saturday with the message: “The unknown road ahead…”
