National Geographic has finally answered the question we were all kind of happy not to know about: how astronauts go to the bathroom. Along the way, we learned just how anal NASA is about this.
First of all, they have a training toilet, a fully functional crapper the astronauts use to get comfortable with a shop vac on their John Thomas. Secondly, there’s a checklist that fits on an entire page.
Thirdly, if that hole in the seat is what I think it’s for, damn, these guys have really good aim.
