For those who haven’t been keeping up, LEGO Dimensions is LEGO’s attempt to do the Skylanders or Disney Infinity thing. Build real LEGO sets based on your favorite franchises, then scan them into your game! It’s going to make a ridiculous amount of money. We already know Batman, Lord of the Rings and The LEGO Movie sets and minifigs will be compatible with LEGO Dimensions, but LEGO and Warner Bros. Interactive have recently announced a ton of new franchises for the game.
The Simpsons, Doctor Who, Jurassic World, Scooby-Doo and Back to the Future packs will be released for LEGO Dimensions. Note the fact that Uproxx has well-stocked landing pages for all those things. Like I said, this game is going to make soooo much money.
In honor of Back to the Future being a part of LEGO Dimensions, the latest trailer from the game features none other than Christopher Lloyd. I like Joel McHale, but this is definitely an upgrade. LEGO Dimensions arrives to destroy parents’ bank accounts this September.
