From Season Five through 10, I covered American Idol as a beat reporter, first for the Los Angeles Times, then The Daily Beast, ultimately writing a book, American Idol: The Untold Story.
I spent many amazing hours in that soundstage I dubbed The Idoldome, at events for the show, on tour after each season and getting to know the singers who gave so much of themselves to this show.
As Idol wrapped tonight, I looked back over some of the photos I've snapped over the years and wanted to share a few of my favorites featuring a few of my favorite Idol personalities.
