You’re going to have to wait a little longer for season 2 of ‘Agent Carter’

It's been almost a year since “Marvel's Agent Carter” wrapped up its first season, but the wait for its sophomore effort just got extended by two weeks.

“Carter” was set to premiere on January 5, but after the date and time for President Obama's last State of the Union address was announced for January 12, which would preempt the second episode, the decision was made to just push the whole thing back to January 19. That way, the episodes can run uninterrupted. The two-hour premiere will start at 9 pm on ABC.

Marvel promises that the wait “will be well worth it.” The 10-episode second season will send Carter to Los Angeles, where she'll encounter Ken Marino (playing mob boss Joseph Manfredi) and Wynn Everett (playing Whitney Frost, a.k.a. Madame Masque).
