With “Doctor Strange” looming on the Marvel Cinematic Universe horizon, magic and the occult will soon be a problem for the Avengers. But not yet. And certainly not like this.

Artist Daniel Kamarudin imagines a Marvel universe where the technology has been stripped out, replaced with high fantasy elements of sword and sorcery. Instead of being genius billionaire playboy, Tony Stark becomes a powerful sorcerer. Ultron is transformed into undead threat. Black Widow trades in her catsuit for assassin leathers, and Hulk engraves berserker runes on his body. The rest of the gang get eerily accurate makeovers as well.

”Avengers: Dark Fantasy” is tailor made for your next Dungeons & Dragons campaign…or the next “What If?” series from Marvel (hint hint).
