“Argo” will be the fifth major live-action film of 2012 to feature a performance by Bryan Cranston. But he’s still best known as – and getting all of these movie jobs because of – Walter White, the master chemist, criminal and manipulator of “Breaking Bad.”
The AMC drama still has eight episodes (set to premiere next summer), which creator Vince Gilligan and his writers are hard at work writing at the moment. During an interview to discuss “Argo,” HitFix’s Gregory Ellwood asked Cranston what he’d like to see happen in these last eight, and whether there’s any good ending for a very bad man like Walter White.
On a side note, Cranston also revealed before the cameras rolled that “Bad” will begin production of the final eight episodes after Thanksgiving.
Watch Cranston’s comments on Walter’s possible redemption in the interview embedded at the top of this post.
