The Sundance hit “The Witch” is by all accounts one of the most genuinely unnerving horror films in years. It feels like we hear that quite a bit, but if the trailer is anything to go by, it feels as if this one may just live up to the hype.
Set in New England 400 years ago, the Robert Eggers chiller asks the question: What if dark magic was as real as the deeply religious Puritans believed it to be?
