“The knee-jerk reaction is to go for another traditional, behind-the-desk interview show,” says CBS boss Nina Tassler. “But we are looking for all types of hosts, there is the political world, not just the comic world.” As for Stephen Colbert, she says there is talk of whether or not he”ll need a band.
