With Taraji P. Henson hosting “Saturday Night Live” this week you might have expected a complete “Empire” parody, but the show did one better: they finally brought Cookie and Cookie together.
That's right, Cookie Lyon made her way to “Sesame Street” to meet Cookie Monster and some of his friends including Big Bird, Mr. Snuffaluffagus, Bert and Ernie and more. Major kudos to PBS and the Children's Television Workshop for making this happen even if it means some kids may not get the joke about Elmo's fate (eke!).
In any event, it's pretty great and we're still dying over Cookie's blunt reading of Mr. Snuffaluffagus.
