As HitFix Harpy has covered before, “Minority Report” takes the future very seriously. From accurately reflecting racial demographics based on scientific predictions to extrapolating the future of technology with the help of MIT, the show is trying to ground themselves in the science side of science-fiction.

Tonight”s episode takes things a step further…into pre-natal pre-health. From the episode synopsis:

Blake withholds information from the Defense Intelligence Agency when he learns they are on the precogs” trail, and Arthur takes matters into his own hands to save them. Meanwhile, Dash gets a vision of a political assassination that intrudes into Vega”s personal life in the all-new “Memento Mori” episode of MINORITY REPORT airing Monday, Nov. 23 (9:01-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

In the exclusive clip above, Vega (Meagan Good) and Dash (Stark Sands) try to figure out exactly who would want to assassinate Senator Meizhou-Shi (Angel Desai) for the seemingly altruistic stance of defeating fatal genetic defects in the womb. Her bodyguard Aman Shale (Darius McCrary) points a finger at anti-technology extremists groups…which is exactly the modus operandi of the “Memento Mori” terrorist group.

“Minority Report” airs Mondays on Fox at 9/8c.
