The zombie spinoff Fear the Walking Dead will be back with all new episodes August 21 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. This news was revealed during the recap show Talking Dead after the show”s mid-season finale.
Ratings for the series have been “cable good” but far from the monstrous numbers that The Walking Dead delivers. After starting off the second season with 6.7 million viewers, the most recent episode delivered the second-lowest numbers of the season, with only 4.5 million viewers. The sixth episode of season one fared much better, with 6.9 million viewers.
The show that inspired it all, The Walking Dead is expected to return for its seventh season in October 2016.
