Game of Thrones set its past missteps on fire

Warning: spoilers for Game of Thrones, season 6, “The Book of the Stranger” review…

In keeping with tradition, Game of Thrones delivered a show-stopper with the fourth episode of the season. “The Book of the Stranger” was filled with alliances, siblings uniting, deeply satisfying politicking and maneuvering, the greatest “meet cute” that we'll ever see on the show, and of course…FIRE. Glorious, cleansing fire as the show almost seems to be (metaphorically) setting some of its past mistakes aflame.
