Glenn from ‘The Walking Dead’ wants you to know: Not all Asians look alike

“Walking Dead” star Steven Yeun hit “Conan” Tuesday night to promote the show, yes, but also to spread the following important message: “Once and for all, we don't all look alike. That's what I'm here to tell you.”

He was talking, of course, about Asians – and the actor not only takes umbrage with perceptions outside the Asian-American community, but the propagation of the stereotype within the community as well.

“It's wild!” vented the actor on the late-night talker. “People will come up and be like, 'I get mistaken for you all the time.' And I'm like, 'you're 55 years old.' Or I'm like, 'you're a 12 year old girl!' What are you talking about?”

To demonstrate what he meant, the actor presented the following cringe-worthy photo:

Ooh boy. We feel for you, Steven.

So what can be done to combat this stubborn stereotype? For his part, the actor scoured Reddit to prove that Asians can also look like people from other races – like, say, white movie star Brad Pitt:

Uncanny! As the actor himself notes, “If all Asians look alike, then Brad Pitt's Asian.”

Boom! Stereotype busted. Done. All good now.
