The first trailer for The Space Between Us looked to be The Martian meets Room, as a boy born on Mars comes to Earth and is experiencing so much of what”s in our world for the first time. The new trailer, released today, puts less emphasis on the mission to Mars part of that and more on the feel-good story of the budding friendship between this boy and the girl he connects with on Earth.

Previously scheduled for August, The Space Between Us is now set for a December 16, 2016 release.
