Ra’s al Ghul is coming to ‘Legends of Tomorrow’

The CW confirmed today that Ra's al Ghul will be making an appearance on “Legends of Tomorrow”.

When we last saw Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable), he was fighting sword to sword with Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) in the season three finale of “Arrow”. Oliver got the upper hand on Ra's and defeated him. Upon Ra's al Ghul's death, Oliver was released from being Heir to the Demon, and the title of Ra's passed to Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman). That seemed to be the end of Matt Nable's run as Ra's al Ghul, but it would appear that the demon of Nanda Parbat will live again.

Comicbook.com confirmed today that Ra's will be making an appearance in episode nine of “Legends of Tomorrow”. Considering Nyssa (Katrina Law) destroyed the Lazarus Pit earlier this season on “Arrow”, it's unlikely Nable will be appearing as Ra's in “Legends of Tomorrow's” current timeline. Therefore it's assumed Nable will be appearing on “Legends” in the past.

If Nable's appearance takes place in the past, could Sara Lance/White Canary (Caity Lotz) see a very young Nyssa al Ghul? Is that where their connection begins? Since “Legends of Tomorrow” is a time travel show, it's possible that a lot of “Flash” and “Arrow” characters could be showing up as different version of themselves, some younger and some older. Who would you want to see make a guest appearance on “Legends of Tomorrow”?

“Legends of Tomorrow” premieres on The CW January 21, 2016.
