Photos: ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’ gets huge premiere at Dolby Theatre

This summer”s biggest blockbuster had its big world premiere on Monday.

Dolby Theatre, home of the Oscars, hosted the world premiere of “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” – the end of Marvel”s Phase Two and the much-anticipated follow-up to 2012's “The Avengers,” which rapidly soared to become the third-highest grossing film of all time.

Most Hollywood Blvd. premieres are held at the Chinese Theatre or, in the case of many Disney movies, at El Capitan Theatre. That venue seats 998, and though that was enough for “The Avengers” in 2012, with Marvel movies more popular than ever, Disney saw fit to unveil “Ultron” at the 3,401-seat Dolby.

Fan favorites Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Nathan Fillion, Scarlett Johansson, writer/director Joss Whedon and many more stars walked the premiere's red carpet. Check out photos from the event in the gallery below.
