Ring in 2016 with free previews of Showtime’s ‘Billions’ and ‘Shameless’

It's January 1, 2016. You're lying in bed, probably hungover from last night's festivities, looking for something to watch. Well, good news! Showtime is offering up sneak previews of two of its shows through various streaming services and websites.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first episode of the sixth season of “Shameless” and the series premiere of “Billions,” set to air January 10 and 17, respectively, will be available seemingly everywhere: YouTube, Facebook, Hulu, SHO.com, On Demand, even as free downloads on iTunes. The only place it seems you won't be able to see the episodes is the actual Showtime TV channel.

By now, we all know what to expect from “Shameless” so I'll spare you the description. “Billions” is about a hedge fund billionaire, played by Damian Lewis (you may remember him from another little Showtime show called “Homeland”) and the US Attorney who seems determined to bring him down, played by Paul Giamatti.
