“Uncle Buck” is getting a 2nd TV remake
ABC is the latest network to rehash a film from the ’80s with a new multicamera sitcom take on the 1989 John Hughes film starring John Candy. “Uncle Buck” first became a sitcom on CBS in the 1990-91 season with Kevin Meaney in the title role.
