While stopping by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, a pregnant Ellie Kemper chatted about how she's been doing more commercials lately, citing her characters' motivations as “sending your kids to private school.” When Colbert joked about endorsing a line of Korean Man Spanks, Kemper went a step further and debuted a fake commercial for a brand of Russian gum.
In the commercial, Kemper promotes “Pyud” gum, made with sturgeon and currant, while having fun on the beach. Then, of course, she suddenly has the ability to shoot lasers out of her eyes. Watch the whole weird ad below.
