According to Rooney Mara, the shoots for the incredibly dark, violent and criminal “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” was “probably more fun than we should have.”
The 26-year-old actress has stepped up to the plate as as the movie and films’ namesake, aka Lisbeth Salander, which also happens to be her biggest role yet. The audition process for the film was notoriously tough, and the hours, as others have said, are longer, due to director David Fincher’s propensity for multiple takes, sometimes up to 40 or 50 of the same scene.
In her interview with HitFix, Mara called it a “focused, intense way of working.” To say the least, particularly in working with “James Bond” lead Daniel Craig.
