The direction that Warner Bros. is going with the DC Universe is controversial. But just about everyone can agree the DC Animated Universe (DCAU) – home of Bruce Timm”s iconic art style – is pretty rad.
Artist James Strecker wondered with “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” would look like if done in homage to those childhood cartoons. So he decided to draw it. The results are distressingly bright and nostalgic.
