The canceled NBC comedy will get a 13-episode 6th season this fall. The pickup comes on the very last day that the actors' contracts could be picked up. “I look forward to bringing our beloved NBC sitcom to a larger audience by moving it online,” said creator Dan Harmon. “I vow to dominate our new competition. Rest easy, 'Big Bang Theory.' Look out, 'Bang Bus'!”
