Donald Trump Surprises Melania By Revealing She’ll Soon Deliver Some ‘Big’ Speeches

On Thursday, Donald Trump made a major announcement on Good Morning America that his wife Melania would be making two or three “big” speeches in the home stretch of the election. The announcement was shocking to many, including Melania herself.

The interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos spanned a number of topics, including Trump’s thoughts on the “rigged” election and his belief Hillary Clinton should be behind bars. But the most intriguing part of the interview was when Melania sat down with The Donald to discuss her feelings on the election. The co-interview was one of the first times the two spoke on camera together since Trump’s vulgar 2005 Access Hollywood tape was released. Much like her interview with Anderson Cooper, Melania said she was standing by her husband through thick and thin.

When asked if she was going to join him on the campaign trail, she said she might, but said her commitment is to raise her son Barron. That is when The Donald casually mentioned that she would make two or three “big” speeches soon, much to the surprise to Melania. Stephanopoulos even seemed a bit perplexed, saying “made some news right there.” The look on Melania’s face at the announcement says it all, but Trump said his wife would do just fine because she’s such a good speaker:

“She’s an amazing public speaker so she’s agreed to do two or three speeches, and I think it’s going to be big speeches, important speeches, and I think it’s gonna be great.”

We have seen Melania make speeches in the past, and although some were considered inspirational, one of them was already delivered by Michelle Obama. With less than two weeks left until Election Day, it would be surprising to see Melania make three, let alone one speech in the allotted time. The Donald has made some false promises in the past, including a promise that Melania would discuss her immigration history with the press, but that has yet to come to fruition. This is also a guy who said he would keep us in suspense about accepting the election results, so voters shouldn’t hold their breath.
